To avoid altered measurements, wear an unpadded/lightly lined fitted bra.

At the onset of breastfeeding, your cup size increases. It is important to take this size change into consideration.

STEP 1
Find your BAND size
Measure in inches around your torso or band, placing the tape measure just under your arms and above your bust as illustrated.

  • If your measurement is an even number, this is your band size.
  • If it is an odd number, you must add an inch.
For example: 35 inches = band size 36
STEP 2
Find your BUST size
Measure in inches around your torso around the fullest part of your bust
as illustrated.
Inches       =       Cup Size
1” A
2” B
3” C
4” D
5” DD
STEP 3
Find your CUP size
Subtract the band size (step 1) from the bust measurement (step 2). The outcome will determine your cup size; every inch equals one cup. See table.

Bust Measurement – Band Size = Cup Size

For example, if your bust measurement is 36” and your band size is 34”,
the difference is 2" so you wear a B cup.

This is the best bra to buy for breast-feeding, it's made of cotton, very fresh and comfortable, and it dries very quickly in the washing machine, the hook is in a good location, in the center, the cups lie down and don't get in the way or are uncomfortable during feeding.

these bras just arrived, and they are very pretty and comfortable, I requested one size larger for the band and cup size for when my milk comes in (I'm still pregnant) and it fits me well right now. Just so you know these sizes are a little off.

Women tend toward round shoulders as we age. Lionisa is a reminder to stand tall and roll our shoulders back. It doesn't do the work for me. It gently reminds me to stand tall. Improved posture makes wearers appear more youthful. Front closures are difficult in that I rely on a mirror or my glasses to align and fasten hooks easily. Results are worth it though and I've been recommending back support Lionisa to friends.
